Esta es la Biblioteca Comunitaria de Bishan, Singapur, un lugar que es como una casa gigante del árbol diseñada usando los libros como concepto, algo que salta a la vista si uno observa con detenimiento el edificio, ya que literalmente pareciera que varios libros salen de su fachada.
El diseño del edificio se llevó a concurso, resultado ganador Look Boon Gee, autor de esta ingeniosa idea que reforzada por vidrios de colores y tragaluces crea, en cada uno de estos “libros”, atmósferas tranquilas y relajantes en las que puede leerse un buen libro o compartir en grupos nuestros pensamientos y lecturas favoritas.
